About DoseLab

A practical educational and reference hub for medical dosimetrists, dosimetry students, radiation therapists and other radiation oncology professionals.

What DoseLab is — and isn't

DoseLab is an educational, organizational and navigation layer over authoritative radiation oncology resources. It explains treatment-planning concepts in plain language, organizes resources the way planners work, and sends you to the original protocol, guideline, atlas or paper.

DoseLab is not a dose-constraint database and not a clinical authority. Published protocols, professional guidelines, AAPM reports and consensus documents remain the source of truth.

Sourcing policy

DoseLab does not invent, estimate or extrapolate clinical information — constraints, prescriptions, margins, tolerances or contouring boundaries. Where a verified source has not yet been attached, the page says so.

Every source record stores its title, authors or organization, publication, version, year, disease sites, fractionation context, a direct link and the date DoseLab last reviewed it. Recommendations from different protocols are never merged into a single apparent standard.
